The Spirit of Knowledge Charter School’s 7th through 12th grade Worcester students will create value in their lives and the lives of others through high-standards academic learning, especially in math, science and technology, gaining admission to college, and developing a positive character.

  • Tuition-free public school, with admission by lottery and no entrance examination. 
  • Focused on achieving proficiency in math, sciences and technology and how it is applied to renewable energy and biotechnology preparing them for college admissions and beyond. Students will graduate “green” and biotech careers ready
  • Academic success will be achieved through a high-standard, innovative curriculum – based on the International model and proved locally 
  • Extensive academic supports allowing every student to learn at her/his full capacity 
  • Extensive use of technology. 1:1 Learning with Technology – every student gets a laptop computer

  • Will open in September 2010 with 156 students in grades 7, 8 and 9. When at full capacity, will serve 275 students in grades 7 through 12. Admission priority for residents of Worcester, MA.
