Barrington A. Henry (Governance/Diversity Committee, Secretary) is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in Cambridge Mass. He is responsible for design and development of space, defense, military communication and navigation systems. Barry has worked in the engineering field for more than 25 years. Prior to Draper Laboratory Barry worked at several engineering companies and served in staff and management positions. He is the holder of five patents.
Barry holds Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston Mass. He grew up in Boston and is a product of the METCO busing program, where he attended Lincoln Sudbury Regional High school. Barry is an active member with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) - New England Alumni Chapter. He is actively involved with student outreach programs at Northeastern University and at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Barry participates in National Engineers’ Week, First Robotics competition, and as a science fair judge at area schools. Barry also conducts an annual technical challenge competition for regional college students.
Barry is married to Judith Henry who is a Financial Advisor for DCU Financial. They have two young adults. He lives with his wife of 24 years in Shrewsbury. When not working, Barry likes ocean boating.
Richard Langevin (Chair, Treasurer, Building Committee), is the CEO and principle owner of Technical Innovation Center Inc. (TIC) in Worcester, MA, incorporated in 1995. TIC is a publishing, training and global consulting organization. His primary responsibilities included Administration, Finance, Marketing, Training and Product Development. He is also a Founder, of the Altshuller Institute for TRIZ Studies in 1998. The Institute is a not for profit organization to export the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving for the benefit of mankind. In 2000, Mr. Langevin became the Executive Director and Treasurer of the Institute. He attended Iowa State University on a full NROTC Regular Scholarship and graduated with a BS in Physics and Education. His diverse background in military and private sector provide a rich background and perspective.
George Cox (Finance Committee) is the Managing Member and principal owner of Cox Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Advisory firm located in Central Massachusetts. George has over 15 years experience in financial services. He focuses on mitigating his clients’ risks in financial markets through customized solutions. Understanding the specific situations and goals of the clients he works with, George endeavors to establish deep and valued relationships. He provides clients with financial, insurance and investment strategies through a fee based approach.
He graduated from Norwich University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He was a three sport athlete in soccer, baseball and ice hockey. His volunteer activities include board of director memberships of the Norwich University Alumni Association, Worcester Community Housing Resources and the YMCA of Central Massachusetts. He also volunteers as an ice hockey coach for the AAA Worcester Junior Sharks. He resides in Spencer, Massachusetts with his wife Saara and their two children Jordan and Delaney.
